- Life insurance helps protect your family from a sudden loss of income in the event of your death.
- AD&D insurance pays an additional benefit if you suffer a severe injury, or if your death is accidental.

*Mott MacDonald employees regularly working a minimum of 30 hours per week who are citizens or permanent resident aliens of the United States, including Canadian citizens living and working in the United States. Employees classified as Temporary, Seasonal or Pipeline Employees are not eligible for this benefit.
Voluntary Life and AD&D Insurance
If you are an active employee* and want more coverage than what the company-provided plan offers, you may purchase additional life and AD&D insurance for yourself, your spouse/registered domestic partner, and your children at group rates through payroll deductions. This additional coverage can help offset financial hardship in the event a covered family member suffers a loss of life due to illness or accidental death. You must purchase additional coverage for yourself to purchase coverage for your dependents.

| Dependent life insurance | Spouse Life Coverage Amount Up to 50% of employee amount in increments of $5,000. Not to exceed $250,000. Benefits will be paid to the employee. Each Child Life Coverage Amount Up to 50% of employee coverage amount in increments of $2,000. Not to exceed $10,000. The maximum death benefit for a child between the ages of live birth and 6 months is $500. Benefits paid to the employee. Dependent life insurance employee contributions Your contributions for Dependent life insurance depend on who's covered and the amount of coverage. Some additional factors may apply when calculating Dependent life insurance such as age and smoker status. |
